As for the hotel itself

As for the hotel itself, it was wonderful, but they tried to get us into the club, they told us a lot about this 'great offer', when we came back we started to check how it looks like and... It turns out that a better option is to book the hotel through other portals. In addition, during our 11 days stay I saw one person at work every day, she started in the morning and finished work at 02:00 at night. What kind of work contracts do these people actually have?

Price Guarantee is anything but........

Let me first by saying we have stayed at their resorts about 8 times in the past 6-7 years and have always enjoyed our time.
This review is about Iberostar Customer Service and their so called, "price guarantee"
I am at the Infinity level with their Horizons program (about 10% discount on prices) plus they were offering a 5% discount over the Memorial day weekend. With my discounts I was able to find a price on the Iberostar website for $4861 for 10 days in September. Just to check, I went to Expedia, and to my surprise found the price of $4410 for exact same room and dates.
I contacted Iberostar and included the snapshot. I asked for their price guarantee plus the additional 5% they advertise.
They refused and said I was getting a special Expedia rate (Yea right!!). The very next day, I got the same price from Expedia and sent that snapshot.
Iberostar does not stand by their Price Guarantee and I suggest everybody check other sites before booking through Iberostar.
In the future we will go elsewhere as it is apparent Iberostar has no
loyalty to customers and does not stand behind their own guarantee.

Scary...Know before you go. You will have no support staff

Booked a package with Iberostar.com online with a representative on the phone. The package clearly tells you for an 8 night stay the following is included: All inclusive, $600 of coupons, free transfers, airfare, trip insurance, free cancellation, free Covid 19 testing before going back to the US. When we arrived at the Cancun airport, no one was there to help or pick us up for the transfer to the hotel. The Iberostar, Expedia, and W2M representatives continued to pass us between them and after 3 hours and $300 dollars later we were taken to the hotel. Many phone calls were made back to Iberostar hotel in Mexico and the US phone numbers on all the paperwork. Now we are still having problems and still have no resolve. There are many other issues going on. Please consider another hotel before booking the Iberostar chain of resorts because we have spent most of our time getting passed from person to person and phone # to phone #. Other quick notes, if you are handicap only one of the resorts has an elevator (the one in Cancun).

Iberostar disabled people not stars

Well I just tried to make some reservations for next year for a disabled friend and Iberostar hotels can not confirm the room. I mean they have the room but they can’t confirm( they can only 99% confirm but not 100%confirm)How can a disabled person be expected to book a trip with a disabled access room but Iberostar can’t confirm the room. Extremely puzzling as by law you have to offer these facilities and make them available but Iberostar ( where evidently disabled people are not stars )have them but won’t confirm. Very discriminatory as i not being disabled can book a room no problem.
Thankfully Melia hotels do not have this issue with disabled travelers .

Poor service all around

Poor service all around. There more interested in selling you a time share then they are making sure your vacation is all it should be. Food was terrible, drinks warm. Fridge in villa didn't work. Housekeeping was awful. Tractor goes by your room everyday at 4am. Needing a golf cart to get anywhere no they don't give you one, you call the lobby and then wait. My husband suffered food posining. Our ride from the airport to the hotel left with out us. We paid cab fair then I had to get a hold of customer service to be refunded. First and last time I stay at a hotel that clearly has no respect for its patrons. You can find out for yourself if you want, but I have stayed at far better places and so should you.
